![]() and rather than carrying the hunting load, they only carried the Home Defense loads.and they idiot wanted to argue with me that they were the right load to HUNT with.I am never going there again. which I had to find for their store clerk. Also, on a side note I wanted to buy a box of Remington Wingmaster HD 3" 1-3/8oz 4 shot. Hence the reason there is now more women's outdoor clothing and stupid seasonal nick-nacks, than actual waterfowl riously :huh:ĥ.) Bass Pro: Terrible selection, ( they only had 4.yes 4 Canada goose full body decoys in stock in Oct? ) and their prices are ridiculously high. Would rank the more popular stores in the following order, from best to worst:ġ.) Mack's: Yeah, its a little more expensive, but they have the most in-stock, and their customer service is awesome.Ģ.) Cabela's: Pretty decent pricing ( 40% of decoys till the 14th  ), but even they are starting to scale back thier waterfowl gearģ.) Rodgers: in 3rd place ( only because of their lack of variety ), but their pricing is usually killer especially on shellsĤ.) Gander Mtn.: Owned by the same folks that own Home Depot, so they are only in it for a profit. I guess I'm in a ranting mood today, ( my 4 month old was up every hour on the hour last night ) so here it goes. How do the rest of you fell about GM? I personally love Macks and Cabelas is a close 2nd. Needless to say they will not be getting any of my business in the future. I only ordered from them cause I got a gift card for Christmas. Their big competitor but the little guys too! I do most of my purchasing thorugh Macks and haven't waited anywhere near this long. Again you can say Cabelas is bigger and better, but the funny thing is not only are they being outplayed by. I placed an order with them 2 weeks ago and still haven't received my stuff! If a week goes by and I haven't received an order from Cabelas you can almost bet the house it will be there the next day. With all of this being said my complaint is with their Internet operation. Ok ok we all know this isn't a fair comparison as Cabelas is a huge super store and GM is more like a more hunting oriented *****. ![]() I have a Cabelas about and hour and a half from me and I go there about 6 times more often than GM (once month to Cabelas twice a year to GM). They stock absolutly nothing for waterfowl hunters which is funny considering the name they chose for their stores. i just can't believe that they are that out of touch with duck hunting here in michigan! oh yes, he said they got that stuff in their southern stores. So I have a Gander Mountain about 20 minutes from my house. Maybe if someone else has any other items of interest in the duck hunting out there, they should e-mail headquarters at g.m. and second off, spring is when we start to repair, paint, and set-up new rigs, duck hunters don't wait till september to start thinking about duck hunting! i told him that first off you never ever had any of these items at any store here in mi. i told him why do you think i sent that e-mail? then he went on to tell me about some nonsense about people yelling at him about wasted space on duck hunting supplies being stocked in the spring. Well, the sound of dollars going elsewhere hit a nerve! i got a call from the store manager yesterday ( novi ) stating he would get these items if i was interested. and in doing so they are loosing some major$$$$$$$$$ due to the fact that when i or anyone else goes to cabelas or basspro we spend alot more on other things due to the distance we have to travel to get what you don't and never have carried! along with line and line crimps and any 8 foot by 30 foot camo netting like cabelas or basspro. i told them they never carry any 6" line clamps (greenhead) or for that matter any type of them. ![]() in the e-mail i told them that they need to build up their duck hunting supplies, in regards to diver duck hunters. I sent in a questionaire/complaint to g.m.
